    BPMI is seeking a full-time Senior Benefits Professional to join its Human Resources Department. The candidate for this position will play an integral part in the department working as part of the Total Rewards team to help develop, execute, and administer the company's standalone health and welfare plans as well as retirement benefit plans, policies, and processes. 


    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Partner with HR leadership, the Company Benefits Committee, and other HR representatives of a non-affiliated company, as appropriate, on the design, proposal, and implementation of health and welfare and/or retirement programs, plans, and policies as a key component of the total rewards strategy.
    • Assist with the management of external benefit vendors to ensure systems are in place and accurate and quality service is provided. Includes utilizing external benefits consultants on plan development, requests for proposals, contract management, and cost management.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of benefit programs. Utilize results to implement changes to existing programs and design new programs to better serve employee needs and organization objectives.
    • Coordinate external and internal benefits audits to identify issues and/or inconsistencies, and take appropriate action to address, resolve, and prevent recurrence of those issues.
    • Assist with benefit plan communications, the coordination and support of annual benefit events, and fairs and wellness programs.
    • Answer complex questions and resolve difficult issues regarding benefits to employees and dependents, as needed.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of training programs for managers and employees on benefits and the total rewards program. Deliver employee benefit presentations.
    • Act as project lead in the preparation of statistical studies and reports as required by legislation or organizational needs. Analyze and evaluate complex data.
    • Provide mentoring and coaching to Human Resources staff on benefits and total rewards items.
    • Maintain awareness and apply knowledge of trends, best practices, and legal developments in Human Resources.


    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management/Administration, or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
    • A minimum of six to nine years of relevant experience.
    • Professional certification in benefits strongly recommended.
    • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership/project management skills preferred.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen due to government security clearance requirements.  In order to work at BPMI, applicants must complete a Federal background investigation and be granted a security clearance.
